RCFP Recording Guide app for iPhone and iPad

The Reporters Committee Legal Guide apps are designed to help journalists who need quick answers to legal issues that arise while covering the news. This app covers common issues dealing with recording phone calls and other conversations. More extensive assistance with media law issues is available through our web site.

The Legal Guides also contain the StoryBase feature, which helps journalists gather their data (notes, contacts, photos, videos, sound recordings, and location mappings) in one place. The apps also provide quick access to our hotline for any media law issues, either by phone or email.
